You can change and personalize your settings for individual MarkUps, depending on what your goals are or who you’re collaborating with.

- 'Send email notifications'

- 'Show pins in Browse mode'
- The default settings are enabled for:
- To turn each setting on or off, click the checkbox to enable the setting, and uncheck it to disable it.
Sending email notifications:
If you want email notifications sent to all individual collaborators in the MarkUp, make sure this setting is turned on. If you don't want these notifications, you can toggle them off in this Settings menu.
You can also control if you want notifications for all comments, or just the ones you are mentioned in!
If you have a Guest User in a MarkUp and they have not provided their email address, they will not get an email notification or any new comments. Guest users can access MarkUp.io without creating an account by providing their name and email address.
Show pins in Browse mode:
This setting is automatically disabled when a new MarkUp is created. If you would like to see where pins are in Browse mode, you can turn it on in the Settings menu.
Add screenshots to comments (Website MarkUps and Chrome Extension only):
If you have the Chrome Extension, you will get automatic screenshots attached to your comments. This is great if you are making lots of changes to your website and want reviewers to see how the content looked at the exact time a pin and comment were left.
