Assigning roles and permissions to individual contributors makes it easy to collaborate on different MarkUps with various stakeholders. With this functionality, you can tailor who in your organization can access specific MarkUps and control what they are able to do within each MarkUp.
Roles
There are 4 types of roles within MarkUp.io and we’ve broken them down individually to highlight their purposes and what they can/cannot do. Check out each role to determine the right fit for each person on the team, within the company or with clients.
Owner
These individuals have the same functionalities as Admins, but with one key difference – Owners own the Workspace and can delete the Workspace at any time.
Admin
These individuals control user permissions within a Workspace, including removing user access. They can also edit the Workspace, Folders, and MarkUps, but cannot delete a Workspace if they are not the primary owner.
Member
Collaborators are able to upload and comment on MarkUps, as well as invite stakeholders to gather feedback and update content. On the Pro and Enterprise plans, Members can also access and add/remove Folders within a Workspace.
Guest
This is great for people you specifically want feedback from on a one-off basis and who are not necessarily using MarkUp.io to gather feedback on their own projects. These users are typically business/project stakeholders or individual clients who are only reviewing a project pertaining to them. Since they are just reviewing and providing feedback, they typically do not have a need to upload MarkUps.
